The talk is based on my summer research on cosmic ray astrochemistry, focusing on the chemistry and physics induced by cosmic rays in molecular clouds, the analysis of three-dimensional astrochemical models that accounted for cosmic ray (CR) attenuation and line radiation transfer calculations for key molecular species.
